WIN TIG AC-DC 180 M (art. 558) is a single-phase power source with inverter technology for TIG and MMA welding, (with the exception of AWS6010 cellulosic electrodes) mainly designed for maintenance and repair works, as well as small production.

Fitted with a new LCD color display and with a clear and simple operative menu for an easy and quick adjustement of functions and and parameters, is supplied with the following new TIG welding processes / functions:

- Extra Pulse welding process - welding process with concentrated arc optimized for welding and spot welding

- APC TIG welding process (Active Power Control) which allows to obtain colder welding beads

- AC+DC TIG welding process suitable for the welding of aluminum and its alloys; with the DC component in the process we obtain more penetrated welds and higher welding speeds with less deformation of the workpiece

- XP TIG welding process (extra power) suitable for welding thin and corner sheets

- AC MMA welding process suitable for welding of electrodes on magnetized sheets. It is normally used for maintenance work and in all cases where a high penetration welding is not required

- “EVO lift” arc ignition - through this function, a welding point is exactly realized where desired

- “EVO ST” arc ignition - this function speeds up the shaping of the bath both in spot welding and upon the start of the welding process

- Spot and intermittence function

- WIZ (Wizard) function for set-up - for a quick setting of the power source

- Gas test function

- Pulsed arc with continuous adjustment from 0.16 Hz to 2.5 KHz

Can work with a variety of remote control devices, foot control (art. 193), remote control (art. 187+1192) or up-down control on torch (art. 1262).

The protection gases to be used are argon, argon/helium, argon/hydrogen. Can be saved up to 9 welding programs (JOB).

The compliance with EN 61000-3-12 standards assures a substantial energy saving as well as a wide tolerance on the supply voltage (+15%/-20%).

The power source can also be powered by motor generators of adequate power (min. 8 kVA).
